Transportation

For transportation purposes, guests should book an arrival flight that lands no later than 4:0PM and a departure flight that takes off no earlier than 12:00 PM.

Getting to Corrales Bay Resort

After landing at Puerto Vallarta International Airport (PVR), you will have three options on how to arrive at Corrales Bay Resort. Corrales  is 30 miles south of Puerto Vallarta International Airport  by boat, approximately one hour fifteen minutes (depending on ocean conditions). Road access to the resort is much farther. When driving from the airport you should plan on three hours. We also offer a private plane option. Please contact us for more info.

Arriving by land

When driving there are several choices:

Option 1: Car rental agencies

Option 2: We can provide recommendations for a taxi service or other transportation companies for a larger group

Option 3: Personalized transportation service is available for guests who would like to be escorted from the Puerto Vallarta airport to Corrales

When you arrive at Corrales beach you will be met by our staff and take a short boat transfer to our dock or walk the quarter of a mile on our coastal cliff trail. A bell hop service  will deliver your bags to your room. Our dock is accessible by boat around half of the time depending on the conditions of the ocean.

Arriving by sea

Corrales Bay Resort has a private boat service from Marina Vallarta to the resort

After arriving at Puerto Vallarta Airport, you will be greeted at the airport and transferred by a taxi to the pier at Marina Vallarta (15 min)

Then transfered by boat from Marina Vallarta to dock at Corrales Bay Resort (aprox. 1 hr 30min)

Our dock is accessible by boat around half of the time depending on the ocean conditions

If you have signed up to arrive by boat and the captain determines that the trip is too dangerous,  refer to  arriving by land

Arriving by air

Private Plane Service to Corrales Bay Resort

Arrive in comfort with private plane service from Puerto Vallarta. The private plane terminal is conveniently located next to the international airport.

   •   Flight Time: A quick 15-minute scenic flight to Mayto.

   •   Ground Transfer: Upon landing, our friendly resort shuttle will greet you and take you on a 40-minute ride to Corrales Bay Resort.

   •   Pricing: $700 total, for up to 3 passengers.
